The new Roland Garros champion, Garbiñe Muguruza, visited the Playas de Santa Ponsa Tenis Club on Thursday 9 June to participate in a clinic organized by BBVA.
16 children from the Balearic Islands, selected by the bank, played with the tennis player on our tracks.
Garbiñe Muguruza was born in Guatire (Venezuela) and with 3 years already began to play Tennis. At age 6 he moved to Barcelona, where he continued to form under the tutelage of Alejo Mancisidor, among others. At 22, she won her first Grand Slam title at Roland Garros, being the first Spaniard to achieve it in 18 years, since Arantxa Sánchez Vicario.
